MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

The following membership guidelines are non-negotiable and required for continued membership in the Enemy Territory ShackSquad.  Failure to comply with any of these guidelines will result in immediate termination from the ShackSquad!

  1. A Shacknews.com profile must be maintained.  If you are not an active part of the Shacknews community, then you will not be a part of the ShackSquad, either!

  2. You must be a registered XFire user and have XFire installed on your primary gaming computer.

  3. Additionally, you must embed your XFire mini-profile into your Shacknews profile.  Instructions for doing this can be found at: http://www.xfire.com/miniprofile/

  4. When all of the above is done, request an invitation to the ShackSquad XFire guild by shackmessaging either razlebol or PenicillinX57.

  5. When playing games on ShackSquad sanctioned servers, use common courtesy towards other players.  If complaints are received about poor sportsmanship, misconduct, cheating, or lack of cooperation, you WILL be banned from ShackSquad servers and removed from the membership roster.  Please send any misconduct complaints to Omaha

  6. Take advantage of as many communication tools as you have available while gaming with ShackSquad members!  Use Teamspeak during organized Shackbattles.  If you don't have a microphone, then be ready to communicate using in-game chat and/or chat hotkeys.  Failure to communicate with teammates will result in removal from ShackSquad.  Seriously, if you just want to be a lone-wolf, please don't join the ShackSquad :(

  7. Finally, have fun.  The point of the ShackSquad is to bring together people who want to cooperate and enjoy team-based games as they were meant to be played.  Hardcore competition is NOT the goal of ShackSquad, so please be cool and keep teams even.  Also, don't be afraid to ask other clan members for help if you don't really know what you're doing!
